Month: April 2005

  • Today is a work day.  Tom has designed a tool to hook up to the back of the tractor.  Joel is going to weld it for him.  The tool will dig a trench for irrigation pipe.

Greg & Jen went up to work on their house, Jen's mom took the kids for the weekend.  It wasn't long before they came back cause Jen had met with the end of a mean rebar .  Last weekend she got a cut from a rebar on her arm and ended up in ER for a tenus shot, glue and steri strips.  That was $700+.... so this injury was handled here with Greg, Jen, and me all working on her leg.  The first time I have ever used super glue to seal a wound.  Also TODAY is Jen's 29th Birthday.    PARTY tonight!!!!

  • Well, we had a nice un-official anniversary celebration.  The official one is tonight.  Uncletom just left for a 'team meeting' breakfast at a restaurant named Sterlings.  (Used to be called Bananas, for any oldtimers out there)  God has been speaking to me about love.  Love is serving without motive of payback.... that means not even hoping for a thank you.  Serving without expecting. (period)  How un-natural is that?  Serving without even requesting love in return.  This is hard.  I can think I am doing it, but then... my heart has deceived me and actually I am secretly wanting to be loved in return.  Loud nasty buzzer sounds here...  not the kind of love HE is looking for in me!!!  Thank God what is impossible for man, is possible for God!  I have cause for rejoicing.  Bless you........

  • Thought it was a very good idea to keep linked with others by sharing current thoughts, happenings, etc. with anyone who is interested in family.

Today is sunny but a cool 64 degrees in Tri-Cities.  Today also happens to be Auntiekathy and Uncletom's 38th wedding anniversary.  Lots of years... getting better all the time.  Thank you Jesus for being so good to me, a sinner, who loves you.
