  • Well, it has been a spell since I have written in here.  Fortunately for me, you guys haven’t been as unproductive in the writing arena as me.  I do have lots to write about too…. but have you ever noticed when you have lots to write about, you usually don’t have lots of time to write?

We had a new baby on Sunday morning at 2:07 AM…. so the count in this house right now is 8 kids under 8 years old… no twins… just two sets of parents to produce so many.  The count in the house of persons is now 16.  WOW, what a group.  The newest is little Anne Marie.

The house building projects are moving along.  Greg & Jen, along with a new baby, are getting their siding put on by someone else, and it is kind of nice to go to your paying job and come home to major improvements to your home.  Looks like a possible April/May move in date… or June!

Sharalee & Curtis are pretty much finished with their wiring and Curtis started a huge other house today… 6,000 sq foot.  He is doing the framing on that one.  So his home is not getting anything new done at the moment.

“To remind a man of the good turns you have done him is very much like a reproach.” – Demosthenes (383-322BC) Greek Orator, Statesman

Well, this is an interesting quote…. it reminds me of tooting your own horn, or lifting yourself up… I like the words to an old song… which say, ” Lord, reduce me to love.”  That is a nice prayer.  I need to be reduced to love… and God says the greatest of these is “love”.  Even above words of wisdom, gifts of healing, etc.  So reduce me to the greatest… which is love!  Amen

I sure love me sister!  She is very special…. she loves latte’s and so do I.. What more could one ask for?  Well, she is the one who got me started on them…. now I am hooked.  At least in Heaven we won’t be separated by lots of miles. Thanks sis!

Ok… I am rambling…. so I will shut my pie hole for now.  I wish I had some pie!

  • You made me smile.
(By the way, that is my new most favorite picture!) Love to you, too and bye for now.

  • I think of the “tooting of one’s own horn” cliché every time I drive by a certain new temple perched high up on a hill here in San Antonio.

Great to hear of the house progress.  That’s very exciting.  And Wow. That’s a great photo of the Frater Factory conveyor. It just goes on and on and on.  J

  • Oh, and I agree. I like your sister too!

  • I don’t mind telling you at all…I just hate to talk about it all the time, because if I’m not careful, I could do just that.

I have rheumatoid arthritis, have had for 5 years now.  I’ve been on Remicade for a year and a half.  Mostly it has helped, as I’m not nearly as exhausted as I once was, but still far from peppy!  My joints are better.   I have my ups and downs.  But, right now, there’s something else going on that I don’t think is related…irregular heartbeats, tightness in my chest.  I think I’m just letting things kinda get me down, letting circumstances overwhelm me.  Today, I’ve been quoting this infamous line, “This is a test.  This is only a test.”  Just wish that it only lasted 60 seconds!

Thanks for your concern.  Backrubs are always welcome!

  • Thank you…again.    I’ve read the side effects a bazillion times now, and I don’t think that’s it.  They do Remicade with methotrexate, and I’ve not seen it as a side effect of that either.  I have ascertained that I’m letting things stress me out, so I’m workin’ on that…not too successfully yet!

  • You love your sis and I love my sis. I only have one left. I took lunch out and we visited today. It was pleasent.
