Preparing for our trip to the wet side tomorrow morning real early. I heard from a friend who just got back that it is so wet over there that she hung a towel indoors with the heat on high for three days and the towel was still damp. It wouldn't dry! Then my brother said when you step outside in the grass it squeeshes (sp) up around your feet. He said you really need boots over there. Mmmmm.... I gotta think a bit about what to wear/take etc.

Well, "The Man" bought me a new cheap camera last night. It is smaller than my expensive one, and seems to take much superior pictures... I am so jealous! Now, however I must buy additional memory cards (smaller ones) and an AC adapter. Altho' this little camera has a rechargable battery and some internal memory. I am impressed so far. I like it when it is "The Man's" idea to make a purchase like that.

Ok... now I am gonna let you in on a little secret. Remember a couple weeks ago when I told you the amplifier thing went dead and I prayed and went to Costco and bought a cheap one.... well, the one I bought was the "display" model and it was used and didn't even have it's own box (I love boxes!) It cost $399. Now, they got in some new ones and they are 1000 watts, instead of 850, and they have better speakers with chrome tweeters and, and............. get this.......... they only cost $369. This is new, unused, the same unit, with more power and better speakers!!!!! Can you believe this. What I think happened was the manager of that department out prayed me! He was praying the Lord would cause someone's amp/tuner to croak so they would come in and clean his shelf off... making room for the new stuff.

Well, the Costco guy I spoke to last night, who was telling me how superior this new CHEAPER model is to the one I bought.... .... said, if he was me, he would box up the one I bought and bring it back to exchange for the newer, better, cheaper model! It is so much trouble to do that though.......... On the other hand, it isn't all that much trouble since it wasn't boxed up when I bought it.... just toss it into the substitute box they gave me! Mmmmmmmmm
