Here is the picture of the day! Another one of my favorites... a dad protecting his son.
Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” And call understanding your nearest kin, ......... WOW Mary!!!!
WORK WORK WORK... isn't it grand?
Picture of the Day
The washing machine died....
We had to go shopping today to try to find a new one...
Let me tell you, that is not an easy task! Way too many choices. Should we also replace the very worn dryer? Should we spend a little more to get one of those energy savers that open in front and stand on pedestals or if you prefer... you can stack them.. then once you make that decision, there are several choices as far as RPMs and various, assorted other fancy features one can choose. Here we are...
We decided to sleep on it and decide tomorrow. Maybe I will take a picture and share with you! ![]()
I am happy... my sister called me this morning and well, I didn't answer my cell phone so she called me on my house phone even though it cost her minutes. It was good hearing her voice.... even though she provided not one little bit of sympathy over my 3+ hours in the dentist chair.. that really surprises me. I mean of all the people, she is the one I figured would really make a big deal out of my ordeal! Just goes to show a sister can even fool her own sister!!! ![]()
This is a great quote for the day, don't you think? Especially for us Christians. "Diamonds are nothing more than chunks of coal that stuck to their jobs." - Malcolm Forbes
YESterday! The dentist office called and asked if I would like to take a cancellation for my new bridge prep.. and that is when I said "yes" to the change. The dentist spent 3 plus hours in my mouth. No wonder it is so expensive. I told Tom if I closed my eyes, it was like I was in the garage with him running his power tools.
They said it would be pretty bad for a couple of days, but actually it isn't near as sore as I thought it would be with all he did. I think I made him grouchy when I said, "I only want 75% of the pain deadener and that much is for your benefit." I think it is because I forgot to say "please" like I was taught.
Let me see if I can find a picture for today.
Ok, anybody recognize these guys? They look so happy!
PS BTW - my little sister, whom I turned to for comfort and support when it comes to teeth, was climbing enchantedly and didn't get her phone call!
