Month: March 2006

  • Today was dump day.... but not for me.  Tom and Joel loaded Greg's truck and trailer with all sorts of building debris, used oil etc., and headed for the Pasco dump.  It cost around $50 to get rid of it all.

Then this afternoon, Tom was signed up to go bowling for Junior Achievement at the Atomic Bowl.  It was like Mardi Gras there with music, masks, and costumes galore.  Tom did pretty good his second game, but he couldn't find his shoes afterwards.  I picked up some shoes I thought were his and they were gold tennis shoes not white so I put them back where I had found them.... but as it turns out, those were his shoes.  The lights were so weird in there that when you picked the shoes up they looked gold.  Tom has picked them up twice and put them back down for the same reason.... wrong color.  It was pretty funny!

This evening Curtis stepped on a sheet of something and it wasn't supported... down he fell, caught by a beam right between his legs... ouch!!!  But he says it hit mostly on one side of his buttocks, which is pretty darn sore about now.

Tonight the kids are all watching the new, "Pride and Prejudice".  I don't think I can stay awake for it.... Hope you're all finding meaningful activities for the weekend.

  • I feel a little better today.  Like there is reason to move on.  Not move on as in moving somewhere... just go forth and attempt to accomplish some things... like one hair cut done and another to come.  Then there is the dye the roots move I need to do.  Expecting a friend for espresso in about an hour... go to grocery stores for week supplies... post office... do some more bookkeeping on other machine.  etc... sounds like an awesome day huh?   Let me see if I can find a picture for you!  Here's one of Hannah (Thad & Jen's girl) last spring!

I had never seen this picture of Joseph before yesterday.  He has an inquisitive expression as if he is thinking, "Can I move yet, cause I really need to smile?"

  • Another day... and boy is it nice out!  It is even warm.     Reminds me of being here:

This is up North of Spokane at Deer Lake, where we have our women's get aways every Fall!

Everyone is gone right now except for me and the baby, Isaiah.  He is napping..... sounds good to me!
