  • Something Caught Fire

….and burned the internet tower stuff causing us to be without any access to the internet for two whole days.  It was hard, but we are now up and running.  I think I am addicted to the computer and e-mail etc.

Here is a little picture from the neighborhood.  Our neighbor does these things.  We pray for him and us and wait upon the Lord.  Not what we always feel like doing, but we are thankful to have that conviction cause it keeps our conscious clear and keeps us out of trouble.  Curtis moved the cones on the right side of the access so he could get his new trailer up to Greg & Jen’s house with stuff in it.  Thus the sign and yellow tape and he put metal fence posts in the ground to hold the cones from being moved.  Curtis said, “I just moved them so I wouldn’t run over them.”

You could pray with us for this situation.  We live on all sides but one of this fellow.

Ok.. now for some cute pictures from the pool last night…. a different night at Mark & Lisa’s pool than the former pictures.  Jeff and Ethan were there with us.

I just realized the rest of the pictures I took are movies… sorry!!!

  • I’m not sure what I am seeing in this photo.  Is this the shared road looking up from your house?  Are cones on his driveway or is this the stree in front of his property?  If he is blocking the street with cones for no visible reason, you should proably call the police on him.

  • It is the street in front of our properties.  It is a private road which gives Greg & Jen & Sharalee & Curtis access to their homes.  I have called the Sheriff and am waiting a call back from an officer.

  • That’s good.  He put the cones out.  He should have to explain to the authorities why he did it and it should be docuemented in their records that he did it and why as well as their assessment as to whether there was any legitimate reason visible for safety sake that those cones should be there or if the cones themselves constituted a hazard as well as a barier for malicious purposes.

What should be clear in the record is that these are intended for harassment purposes as there is no reasonable cause for their presence.

  • You could make your own sign and fasten it to the rock wall or to the edge of the pavement:

DT 19:14 Do not move your neighbor’s boundary stone set up by your predecessors.

  • I really, really like the reference!!!  That is cool.  The Deputy said since it is private road, it is a civil matter which needs to be addressed by an attorney or the rest of the neighbors.  Not what I wanted to hear… but he did say the same is true for him if we moved them… so if we got a different deputy they might have a different opinion.  He was kind and understanding and even said he knew of the guy and the situation here.

  • Glad you like the reference.  It seemed fitting.  It has a little more clout than the other one that came my mind by The Five Man Electrical Band.  But I suppose you could use that one too if you really want to.

“Sign Sign, Everywhere a sign, blocking out the scenery breaking my mind.  Do this! Don’t Do that Cant’ you read the sign!
…If God were here, He’d tell ya to yer face, “Man! You’re some kinda sinner!”

    Naww…

  • Sounds to me like the Deputy “advised” you to go ahead and move the cones, and let the neighbor initiate the attorney process if he desired.  Man.  This guy’s a jerk.  Nice pool pictures .
