  • NAP TIME

Just a little note before we take our Saturday afternoon nap!!!    I know, I know... but it is hot out and well we are getting up there in years... so a nap it is!!!

Hey, guess what?  Curtis & Sharalee are moving out completely in two weeks.  The packing has begun.  This place is gonna be a tomb when they are gone.  I am gearing up for lots of good cooking and parties or something to keep us from going nuts!  So go ahead make your plans to visit.

  • More Pictures

Worked later than usual yesterday... just to get caught up!  Also, little Isaiah is running an elevated temperature.  It was up to 103 yesterday.  He was really hot!!!  He is cutting some front teeth and who knows what else is causing this distress.  It is hard to see someone so little and innocence... hurt!

How about some more pictures from the trip???

San Francisco Boudin Sourdough Bread Bakery -- Street artist (uses spray paint, putty knife, and fire)

David and Nevenda Hunter from Fremont, CA-- and the whole four of us (not great lighting)

Well, the site is telling me I cannot load anymore photos this month so we will have to see what I can do about that... I have lots more to share and some pretty nice ones too.

  • Here's a few more pics before I take off to work:

  • Back in the Saddle Again

We're home.  Actually we got home the evening of July 10th.  Tom had yesterday off and so we did a few things around the house, took C & S's 3 to the park, then McDonalds, and last night went to take some cd's to some friends and ended up going for a walk and sampling some fresh fruits, etc.  We enjoyed our day home a lot.   I guess that is what is so good about going away for awhile.  But how often does one go on vacation and stay at home?  I think that would be awesome or how about going on vacation and traveling somewhere with no time deadlines?  Being able to just stop whenever the need arises and do stuff for people you meet along the way.  You know, someone you just happen to meet who could use a helping hand.  So you help them.  They don't expect anything.  That would be a great vacation I think.

Here are a few of the many, many pictures I took:

Pacific Ocean Beach                                                 Neptune Pool - Hearst Castle

Kute Kissin Kousins from Kansas -- Sonnie & Jerry

      CA 1-2006244

Neptune Pool @ Hearst Castle and then J & S with Jerry's Nephew, Damien (who lives & works in San Francisco)

More tomorrow or the next day......

  • From San Francisco

HELLO!!! Just a quick note from the hotel.  We are here for the second day with Sonnie & Jerry.  Got some great pictures of things yesterday, plus saw a real live demonstation on the streets of SF.  And I wasn't in this one!!!  Got some pictures of that too!

Today we are off to see DJ & NJ, then to do some other stuff around here.  Tomorrow is a big day in SF again.  I think we learned a couple of things yesterday.  Will have to fill you in later as I see everyone waiting (on me probably).

Will try to write some more tonight!!!  Love you all very much... Kiss the kids for me...
