Friday – Yephee
The Direct TV guy is coming between 8am – 12 noon. Garbage Day
I am going to an estate sale of my friend Louise that went home to be with the Lord. Hoping to find a little something to keep as a reminder of her sweet walk with the Lord. Her daughter will be there too!
Tomorrow Men’s “Petite” Retreat all day. At least one of the Pastors thought the word “Petite” connected with a Man’s Event was just wrong. It apparently originated with one of the wives typing up the announcements and titling it such because it is merely one day not a whole weekend like usual.
Sunday, Church in the Park… last one this year. The weather is supposed to warm up more on Sunday which will be nice since it is down by the river. Next, wash van.. pack for leadership/pastors retreat. Sure glad I got my brother to watch stuff while we are gone…
Will have pictures after the retreat… maybe before. Ok… it’s off to put out the garbage. Blessings to you all…..
PS Awoke in the night and had Thad on my mind… so I prayed extra for him. (He’s my fireman son!)

haha, thanks. My knees are nice and colorful these days. my bike riding skills don’t seem to have improved with age.
Is there some sort of connection between the Direct TV guy and garbage day?
For a while, my church was calling their men’s breakfasts “Monster Breakfasts.” I noticed that the word “monster” was conspicuously absent from the ladies’ events, So I suggested to a member of the ladies’ commitee that one of their tea gatherings be called “The Ladies’ Monster Tea.” She thought it was funny and said she’d pass it along, but nothing ever came of it. Our pastor and his wife are Welsh, so our pastor’s wife takes her tea very seriously.
