  • Here is the Scoop on Michael Angelo Song!  In a Nut Shell (as they say)

A friend, Lisa, read the blog and called me to say she thought the guy who did that song, sang at her wedding.  So she e-mailed.  As it turned out it wasn’t him, but he knew who had written the song and so with a link to a webpage….. I e-mailed and this is what I got back:

    Kathy,

What a surprise!  Yes, I wrote the song. I’ve enclosed an MP3 of a simple recording of it I did with my wife, Laura, many years ago. Where do you live?  You may have heard it from a recording by Lydell Feist who did it on one of his albums in the 70s-80s. He lives in the Midwest I believe.

This is what he sent me.

Click once on the little arrow, lower left corner to activate and click again to play.  Just not too fast..

The next one is what I copied off the radio in 1979 by Lydell Feist.  It is the only one I ever heard until yesterday.  PS  Found patch cord for dvr!

I felt so excited and grateful.  Thanks Lord and thanks to you all too!  There is one LP of Lydell Feist on E-Bay.  I might have to splurge on that and then work on converting my records to CDs… I have several boxes.  FUN!

  • How very cool!  Mystery solved in a profound and personal manor!  I just had a similar experince as a result of this.  While on the yahoo group I mentioned where I was asking about this, I also inquired about how to get a CD of the Sail On Sailor album by Mustard Seed Faith.  I was given the email address of band member, Oden Fong. I wote him and he wrote me back directly.  I’ll post some of that on my blog.  Also, it happens that our church here in San Antonio is hosting a concert of early Christian artists from the Jesus Music days.  http://www.touchingourroots.com/artists.htm  It begins this evening.  I’m goiung to try to catch some of it.

  • I clicked and the music wouldn’t play. I loved the garden talk.Thanks.

  • I wish we could be there to go with you guys.  That is a cool link.  Did you check out Barry McGuire’s site?  I really like the way he has it set up with sound and everything about it.  How about the bald look?
