Working on Play Programs.  They are due out tomorrow.  Have been inputting bios on actors.  Interesting!   I have had to make up two of them... fun!!!  I also realized I am missing two pictures so I need to do some cutting and pasting from the church picture section of the directory (not that great a quality of pics). 

So I am home today, after working all day yesterday at the doctors office.  Yesterday, the doctor came and asked me if I would give her a shot.  I only do paperwork at this office.  Anyway, I said, "sure".... and it was fine.  Yesterday she asked me to find a urine collection container for a male patient, but of course I could not find anything.  So I asked if she would like me to drive to the lab and get some.  She said yes, so off I went.  It actually only took about 15 minutes.  I hit all green lights, the elevator was right there, and there wasn't anyone in front of me, I knew the lady at the lab, so all went well. 

(On the way I saw what appeared to be a hand grenade in the center turn lane.  I reexamined it on the way back and sure enough it looked like one, probably a toy, but I decided the call 911 and report it just in case.  So I did and ?????  They said they would send someone to check it out. )

The doctor must've thanked me five times for going to the lab for her.  But the cool thing is she is getting a little more bossy!  That is cool!  I asked her what she does for fun, and she said "nothing... I just work!"   I said, "that needs to change!"  I invite you to pray for her, with me.  She is so sweet, but needs a new life. 

Last night when I was leaving they were shooting a commercial in one of the rooms.... It was interesting.  Ok... I better get back to the programs.  I am just jabbering anyway.

PS  The obit on our neighbor said he died of a complication of a thyroid condition..... interesting! 

Remember the lights etc, Monday last week (the same day Curtis truck burned)?  I said it was our neighbor, he had collapsed and was in the hospital unconscious.  Well, his kidneys shut down so they "pulled the plug" last Friday.  I really think he died Monday night, the 20th, but officially he died on the 24th.  He was 57 years old.  Not that old, to be all of a sudden dead.  His wife is left with a big house to care for and 5 acres of ground.  He was a nuclear chemist and has lived here since 1974.  They have two grown sons. 

The last time I spoke to Alfred, I had to tell him his faults between him and me, as the scripture says.  I had something against him and so we talked about it, and that is when he told me he was offended by me too!  Anyway, we shared our true feelings and joked about it.  I am so glad I went to him instead of just stewing and steaming to myself or/and everybody else.  And it was only a couple months ago too!  Thank you Lord for your faithfulness... and because of my problems with him, I had been praying for him and his wife a whole bunch. Now, I have had a heavy heart for his wife, altho' I know the Lord is faithful.   I am cuddling with my husband in our bed last night, feeling the warmth of his body next to mine, and thought she will never be able to have this blessing with Alfred again.......    The service is Saturday morning.   Her name is Gayle and here is that clip again, taken from our front doorway.

It is now Tuesday morning.  I am working all day today at the doctor's office.  The program for the play is due by Friday afternoon.  I still don't have all the bios to add.  Yikes.... time is flying by. 

Sorry about the video of Sharalee's birthday song not working.  I have written for advise cause I have no clue why it won't work, but it is kind of an interesting rendition of the traditional song, so I will let you know when the bugs get worked out.

Update:  with what went on in our neighborhood Monday night around 11PM. 

    It was our neighbor, who collapsed on Monday night, he is still unconscious and as of yesterday they don't know what is wrong with him.  He is a Christian.  His wife has been by his side day & night and one of their sons also.

What Happened Around Here Today!

Some explanation:  Sharalee called Curtis this morning and said she noticed some tumbleweeds under the truck as he left and she had heard they can catch fire.  He said, ok and a couple of blocks later he called her back and said something like, "you know what you said about those tumbleweeds, you were right!  The truck is on fire!"  

I was meeting a friend for espresso and the cops had the road to the intersection blocked so I had to take a detour, what I could not see was that it was Curtis' truck & Sharalee there with the fire trucks etc.  So Sharalee sent me these pictures which I am sharing with you all.  They are covered by insurance, nothing was damaged except the truck.  They got a super special deal at Budget Rent a car/truck so Curtis can continue working.  Thank God the truck didn't blow up...  not that it really would have, but in the movies it does happen.

   Here is a little bit of what went on yesterday while babysitting Isaiah.  ENJOY!!!!!!!! 

Gonna go hop in the shower, work in FraterFactory this morning, go to doc's office this afternoon.  Tonight we were going to a play, but we cancelled cause I get to play with my little grandkids again.  And Tom has a elders meeting at the cafe.  Joel wants me to read lines with him and cut his hair..... Tom needs a haircut pretty bad too. 

OUCH!  I wonder what is going on with my neck... I started thinking in the early morning hours it is my brain leaking, cause I was sleeping on my back totally, and I awoke and my head felt heavy and sore in the back!  But my brain was working superbly yesterday.... I was surprised at how good I could remember stuff.

Ok, off to the shower....... you all have a awesome, exciting day of discovery!  For now...wedding video!

Lots of work yesterday.  I will have to go back in this morning to try to finish up.  Left that job at a little after 4 to go to my doctor for neck problems.  He said adjusting my neck, because of swelling and inflammation, is like trying to close a door with a foot stuck in it.  He is so descriptive.  The neck is very stiff and sore.  I am a stiff neck woman! ....very literally stiff necked!  Lord I pray this is not an outward showing of an inward thing!!!  Is it Lord?   If so, change me.... please!  Thanks!

Looking on the physical side, I could try out for one of those videos where people move like robots cause that is me right now.  Well, it is off to make latte's and work.  I wonder what driving will be like?    Will let you know.......I sense the Lord is telling me to R-E-L-A-X!  OK!
