Does anyone else feel they are in a race and the track keeps moving backwards, while the clock speeds up? Programs printed and folded and delivered by 3pm. That is my goal. May you all have an awesome God filled day.
I’m there with you feeling the same. Fortunately many of the deadlines for my team are moving too, due to unforseeable complexity on the projects we are undertaking. While that relieves the immediate stress, it also creates a sense of ambiguity and uncertainty as to what will change next, making it sometimes difficult to know what is really the most crucial thing to focus on at any given time. Thats the nature of systems design for the complex world of finance, I guess. Clear targets and and a clear means to accomplish them have their virtues. End of the year wrapping-up activities enter into the mix as well. I imagine that is driving some of your activities. Have a great day!
