How I found Joel........
Here is a picture of one way I found Joel today when I got home. He was wrapped in this quilt asleep in the lazy boy. Then he moved to the bar stool to sip his hot mocha, still wrapped in the quilt. He was happy and said he thought the quilt is real nice. It had an inscription which he read, "Jeannie Barrett 1995", who just happens to be my mom. He had found it in the linen closet and pulled it out to use while resting. He didn't smile in the picture, altho' he claimed he was happy, because he doesn't like the way he looks when he smiles in pictures.

I have no wheels!
The Honda is being serviced, so Uncle Tom took the van. I think this is a good day to pull the bicycle down from the ceiling in the garage. Or I could just call for the limo to come get me when the Honda is done. It is a white limo tho' and I prefer black!
I wonder if the limo driver would mind stopping at the mailboxes for me! PS I got a new list for today.

Things to do! Places to go!
Uncle Tom has given me my list of things to do today. I love it that he gives me a list so I can help him in useful ways. It also helps me be a little more organized which does not come to me naturally. I have crossed off only one thing so far... gotta get to the rest. Also laundry day duties are awaiting me.
Sunny, but kinda cool today... supposed to get up to around 65 degrees. A little cool for now. (Like Glenn Beck said a couple days ago, that it was 10 degrees below normal for this time of year, but if it wasn't for global warming it would be 19 degrees below normal.) He is pretty good at putting a perspective on things.
Joel has a problem.. birds keep pooping on the side of his truck. He has tried moving it, but they did it again. I suggested he put foil on the mirrors, or tie a ribbon on the mirrors...
but he didn't seem to like my suggestions...
so he is gonna move it a lot further away and see if that works. I tried to encourage him to have a little adventure and try the foil &/or ribbon..
but ... oh well, what can I say? I even cut two pieces of foil for him to make it easy... it is still laying on the kitchen counter.

Over the Hump again........
Hard to believe it is already Thursday. Have a lunch date with the gal from Dr. Ramesh's office. She called me, but I was thinking about her the same day. [I have roots to cover and some plants to pot. (two totally different topics in that last sentence, if you get my drift????)]
Tom & Joel stayed home from work yesterday.... they were both just wore out. Up and at em today though... Now, here are some things to look at...
First here are some snap shots from Ellie's 7th Birthday Party on Monday evening. (BTW - I was totally wiped out from sweeping the driveway with cement powder... which Curtis obtained for free.) On Tuesday I hurt all over from sweeping, but it wasn't as bad as just having my shoulder hurt... I think "hurt all over" is easier to endure than "kill in one spot" hurt.

And now for some video of the party players.
EDIT: So far one successfully uploaded, the other one not yet.. I will keep trying.
[so far I am once again unable to successfully upload a little video clip!
I have written to Xanga "HELP" once again... I have only tried a dozen times now!]
