Weekend ReCap
On Sunday morning, Greg, Tom, Myself with the help of five kids… went early to set up two nursery rooms. When the kids started coming, I saw this little girl and I really got a chuckle out of her neclace of pacifiers.
Jen went to a Home School Retreat for the weekend, so Greg was down on Saturday to watch a hockey game and the kids cartoons & play. I got a couple of shots of the girls playing with the Polly Pockets and everyone just laying around.
On Friday night we went to the Calvary Chapel Auction. Yeah, they are finally auctioning it off! About time, I say…. ok.. just kidding. It is an annual event to benefit the Calvary Christian School. The theme this year was Asian and it wasn’t attended like usual. My theory is the theme was too much like Erwin… well, he is Phillipino. Even Erwin didn’t show up. (This is an old joke around here.
) Other people were out of town, etc. But, other than the food being not to my liking (except for the chocolate on the outside of the fortune cookie). Here are few of the things that went on there:
If you want to see more go to my videos and help yourself. This is our Senior Pastor, Steve Whinery. Being a pastor means getting humiliated as well as gettin to share in the glory at times. At least that is the way it is at Calvary.
Sunday AM study was on depression. It was so good and balanced. I used to hate the word balanced, but now I think it is healthy. I should share some specifics a little later.

Ha, what’s he supposed to do now that he’s in that thing? (Love the pacifiers–are they ‘loaners?’)
Looks like a pacifier for every day of the week. Those girls are sweet too. That guy in the suit looks funny. Does he crack lots of jokes?
YEAH! for Polly Pockets! Hey, I wonder if the pacifier girl will go into some kind of ‘risk management’ when she grows up!
I wish I could have got to try on the sumo suit! Oh, well maybe next time.
