Working Late…..
Tom is working still and it is after 5pm. He said there were some problems and he would call me back in 30 minutes to give me a heads up on today. So I will attempt to give you all a little heads up on what I know: On Monday morning @ 6AM we fly out of Spokane to Omaha, NE. Apparently we are purchasing a 2002 triple black corvette convertible from the original owner.
If all goes as planned, we will then take off on an adventurous trip back home via Yellowstone, etc. We are gonna get to do whatever we want for a couple of days. Happy anniversary to us!!! (I guess that is what this is about.)
The conservative and practical side of me keeps thinking of all sorts of reasons why this is not a good idea in the long run… but then I think of how many years and how hard Uncle Tom has worked and I agreed with myself that he really deserves a little fulfillment of a dream he has had since I met him when he was 16 y/o. (that being to own a corvette)
Now, if for some reason, that plan doesn’t work out, we will probably rent a car and drive to KC to harass our cousins for a day or two and then fly back home from KC.

So Uncle Tom sends me an email asking me if I had thought of how to manage my long hair riding with the top down so I grabbed a real old scarf and wrapped it around my head, went in the bathroom, snapped this picture to send back to him. I don’t think he liked it too much cause he wrote back and suggested a pony tail would work good.
Notice I didn’t look very happy myself as I was thinking of looking like one of the muslim women.

LOL tell him thanks alot. I think if you roll up the side windows that it will be not as windy or that is what I see people doing. Hey,that is my husband’s dream also.
I told him that if mom lives with us he could afford that Corvett he always wanted and he said it won’t be worth it.

Looks great!!! I wish you it or one just as beautiful. And you know I like convertibles. I already decided if I get another one it might as well just be a two-seater because nobody seems to like riding in the back anyway. BTW, it was riding in the convertible that prompted my son to put his long hair in a ponytail. Now he wears it that way most of the time.
Be glad it’s not a jeep with the windshield folded down.
A baseball type hat works the best with a pony tail. Slouch a bit too, it keeps you out of the wind. You’ll love the ride.
I’m sorry, I’m still laughing at your muslim picture. RYC: The “man room” is Cigarman’s place where he goes to be alone and watch TV. We normally call it “the cave” because everybody knows if John is in his cave, you don’t bother him. I just noticed on the decorating shows, most houses have a “man room” — usually a basement — where the men go to be alone and do stupid stuff like play billiards. Well, you enjoy that corvette. You two kids behave yourselves.
