Still have not totally recovered.  We are very tired and just need some time to get back to normal.  Praise the Lord, though, He is sooooo good!

These are pictures of a place "ButterCream Bakery & Cafe" in Napa, CA that Uncle Doug loves to eat at, and our friend, Mark used to have donuts on Saturday mornings from this place when he was a boy.  His dad is gone now, but Mark still has fond memories of this place... so we got these pictures for him.

It was so much fun eating here.  We sat at the counter and watched them cook and prepare the plates.  On the grill right there is some cinnamon french toast.  What a great place!

    More tomorrow!

  • I like places where you can see your food being cooked.    I admit it..... I love going to Waffle House.

  • I can smell all the good smells right here!

  • Love the older places this, that still make Real food! Lol.......the sign even included a Lunch break for coffee! Ha! .....................Have a Thankful Thursday!.........In Christ's Love.......Monic

  • I don't know what to say about the flag thing. My grandma always said since she was born in Poland that being a Polish-American made us a better American. The same with my other grandma-being an Irish-American made us a better American.

I like sweet shops. Ours was called Kitchens after the name of the family and just a hole in the wall but always had a line out the door in the morning.

  • All I can say is YUM, YUM!
