It's Time........
....to get packed. Tomorrow we leave for Israel. So I will try to read ya'll tomorrow, but I am not sure if I can keep up with you while I am gone. Packing is a challenge. We will be gone 11 days. So when we get back I will need to take a few days to catch up................on my sleep!!!!
Just kidding! I guess we get to sleep on the plane. It is pretty warm over there right now. Supposed to be 91 degrees on Friday. I will hopefully have lots of pictures to share when I get back. If there is anything you want a picture of, in particular, just let me know before tomorrow at noon and I will do my darnest to get it for you.
PS I have had a complaint about cutting off the Elizabeth video before she tore up the cake... so here is part II.
And if this isn't enough, below is part III.
I stole this picture from Shemax's xanga page... cause this is my favorite of the professional one-year pictures of Lizzy.

I'm glad you had more videos. I think it is sooo cute at the end, when she realizes the tasty stuff is on her hands - and she makes a little "cake goatee" on her chin! How fun for everyone!
Have a great trip to Israel! Have you been there before?
Kathi
@Still_groovy - And I forgot to write that one of the other kids said, "Lizzy looks like Daddy now!" Cause their dad has a gotee on his chin! I like the way you spelled gotee like goat ee! Never been to Israel before... Europe many years ago......so many years ago, Uncle Tom and I were even on the same Passport.
Thanks for your thoughts....I should have spoken to her privately....something that this situation taught me!!
Mike
@xThexGodfatherx - that is cool! I wonder if she remembers it? I bet God used it in her life for good. He sooo covers us and our blunders when we love and follow Him. I feel encouraged, thanks.
Thanks for stopping by my site! I don't like the time changing this early at all. Takes me 3 days to get used to it. As part of our church pastor preaching through the Bible we are in Exodus now. On March 12 we are having a Seder meal to undestand what the Jews went through. If you are able to go to a Seder meal in Jerusalem could you take a picture of that?
Have a good day.
Here is the link to our church if you want to check it out:
http://www.clcdayton.com It is actually in the city of Vandalia, OH
Those videos were very funny!!
Wow! I'd love to go to Israel someday. I hope you have a great time.
Have a Wonderful time!........Pack lots of Summer clothing for day and light jacket for night!............Praying for safe travel mercies!............In Christ's Love.......Monic
Oh! Hehe, I wasn't trying to be funny, though. I'm pretty sure that's how it's really spelled (goatee). And of course it DOES look like a goat's beard!
Kathi
You asked about pictures--here's two I'd love to see if you get the chance--there's a 4th century church that holds the tomb of King David in Jerusalem (if they let you take pictures). The other would be one of the Gardens of Gesthemane--that would be an exciting walk for you!
This will be a wonderful journey for you--I can't wait to hear!
@JustMeAndy - Ok, it's written on my list to take. Thanks for the request.
she is so cute. Can you get a photo of my brother Johnny's boss over in Israel -he will be there also. He is leaving from L.A. though. Hey, he was the fellow riding the pony with brother and is a retired Deputy Sheriff. Be careful over there cause I heard that their is unrest over there.
What an awesome experience you will have!! Look forward so much to all the pictures you will take. Thanks for e-mailing me all the info! Will be thinking of you the next couple weeks. Have a safe and wonderful journey. God be with you!!
Israel! ? Wow! How come I didn't hear about this? How exciting! We'll be anxious to hear & see all about it. Have a great time!
@blogdad - Wow, I didn't know you didn't know! Thank God for Xanga. You guys got me started here... well, maybe it was more your kids. Thanks
Cute professional pic of Lizzie, I like the color added....ryc, I wonder the same thing about people....I wasn't saved at the time of that goat making session but I believe God has a way of doing things....Be Blessed and have a great time.....Mike
