  • Could you help me, please?

It took me a while to get this and now I need your help.  I tried to copy all the words but I am not "POSITIVE" I got them all correct.  So if you could listen to it and see if any are wrong... I would appreciate it.

Who paints the rainbow?  Makes the seas roar?

Who put stars in heaven?  And causes rains to fall?

Who creates the mountains?  The ruler of the world

Move the clouds about?  It's the ruler of the world.

Who gives me His promise? I bow down at His Word.....mmmm

You are the ruler of the world; King of Kings it's in the sky, oh Lord

You are the ruler of the world; We will lift your name on high, oh Lord

Who brings us salvation?  Leads us to His light?

Who use all our sorrows to teach us wrong from right?

Who gives us wisdom?  The ruler of the world

Fills our hearts with joy?  It's the ruler of the world

Who gives us His promise?  To bow down at His word

You are the ruler of the world; King of Kings it's in the sky, oh Lord!

You are the ruler of the world; We will lift your name on high, oh Lord!

Who gives us wisdom?  He's the ruler of the world

Fills our hearts with joy? It's the ruler of the world.........ahhhh

We bow down at His voice.

You are the ruler of the world; King of Kings it's in the sky, oh Lord!

You are the ruler of the world; We will lift your name on high, oh Lord!

You are the ruler of the world; King of Kings it's in the sky, oh Lord!

PS Have been busy preparing for an estate sale.  It is a whole lot of work but I have found some pretty awesome stuff.  For example, there are cool pictures from the 1912, 1913, the 20's, 30's and 40's.  There are some postcards from that era also.  Some vintage clothes, dishes, and glassware.

  • It is a beautiful song. I think the words are correct but I've never heard it before. Love you, Mom

  • You got all the words!............Hope you have a Great evening! Sounds like alot of interesting things to sell!........In Christ's Love......Monic

  • @magvoice - Thank you.  I was especially unsure about the words "King of Kings it's in the sky".  I thought it was "King of Kings who sustains the skies" at first.  And the "We bow down at his voice" was another place I was unsure.  I just now saw one error... in the fourth verse.  Thanks again Monic!!

  • @tomatolady - Thanks Mom!  It came from Israel.  I like it more and more all the time.

  • Looks right to me.

  • @CrazyWiz - That's what everyone has said so far.  I really had to work at getting the words down, but once I listened to it over and over... it was so natural, almost automatic to really worship the Lord.  Thanks

  • Thanks for your encouragement! ~ Pete

"Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul; then the swollen waters would have gone over our soul. Blessed be the Lord..." Psalm 124:4-6

  • Neat song!  Thanks for the birthday greetings for Debbie!

  • sorry but I had to take a potty break so just listened.

hey -if you don't like the price at the estate sale just sell on ebay-you'll get a better price.  Put the price you would want for it and say FIRM that you won't go down and that way it won't go for nothing.  Also do you do like we do in Texas ? the last day of the estate sale is half price sale?  so if you don't want to sell -just put it up before the sale starts sunday.

I'm a sucker for people with a story so if someone says ,"what is your best price and they say ,"my granny had this in her house." I come up with a good -better price." But if someone is mean about it and says.-something like ,"they're a dime a dozen." I don't go down.

  • Thanks so much for the advice.   I can use all I can get.  My good long time friend, Lis, spent three different days over here helping me sort, identify, and price expensive stuff.  Then my husband pulled out a couple of boxes from a deceased distant cousin, who had no wife or children, no siblings.. in other words for that line of the family it was the end of the line.  Someone knew we were related and contacted us to take these personal belongings.  We had only met once as he lived out of state.  Anyway, it has been interesting as there are lots of WW11 pictures & postcards.  There are other things dated 1912 and up.  I think the oldest think I found was dated 1909.  He was an artist and sculptor so there are even some nudes.  I was hoping to scan a few of the pictures (not the nudes) and share on xanga....
