An incredible Story
I know the girl in this video. I will tell you my incredible story of a divine encounter below the clip.

About 12 years ago, this girl was on the cover of "Focus On The Family" magazine. She lived in California and I lived in Washington State. I read the article and said to the Lord, "I have a few things to say to this girl". Two months later we were in Franklin, TN at a coffee shop. There was no one else in the shop except a couple of employees. We were at the counter ordering when the door opened and in walked this girl. She walked right up to me and said, "where you from?" I knew the Lord had set this meeting up and felt enveloped in His presence. As it turned out she had just moved to Tenneessee and didn't know many people. So after she ordered, we all sat down together and I told her everything that was on my heart. She ended up hanging out with us the rest of the afternoon as my daughter and her were about the same age. We were in our motorhome and we drove her home that night.
Truly, I did not have faith to believe God would do such a thing... I never thought it would happen, especially given the fact that it was only two months. He has done this so many times in my life. There is no way that could just happen! I think He knew I was gonna say that, and had everything all planned out beforehand. I wouldn't even be surprised if His Spirit moved me to say that just so He could WOW me again. WOW!!!!
So what do you think of this true story?

whoa - that is amazing! =]
Goose bump time!!! Amazing story. I think the older we get the more we see God's guiding hand in our lives. I always say that God brought Ken to me at the exact time I needed someone like him in my life. He was at a crossroads on his way west, and decided to go on to Tucson instead of going to El Paso. If he had turned to El Paso my life would be entirely different!! Of course, I tease him and say that I probably would have married someone who wanted to stay living in "warm" country----hmmm! lol
Loved the pictures of your visit to your daughter in Michigan. Isn't it a shame they have to live so far away. But you are blessed to have two of your kids living near you----as we are having our Greg and family nearby. Now that Jeff is on the road, and their kids are spreading their wings---moving to Nashville and San Jose, I really appreciate having some family nearby. At least I have some grands here to tease!!
You never know---maybe the kids will get your way sometime. The main reason they were initially going your way was to have a special window installed in Portland. I don't know if they decided not to do it, or if they just delayed it. Never thought to ask. I do know they had planned on starting their traveling earlier than they did, but took longer for the house to sell. That probably made a difference, too. They wanted to stay south during the winter.
But, I certainly will tell them. Jeff usually reads my blog at work, and I think he reads the comments, too.
Thanks for sharing your experience
