Wasn’t there a book or something called “God is My Copilot”? This is a perfect example!! I wonder whether the pilot appreciated that fact!!!!??
Pretty cool. I’m suspicious of it and so is Snopes, but they have no conclusion. The question seems to be as to whether it is a planned stunt, or a digital creation. I’m guessing after watching few times that is is a combination.
Editing one frame at a time to replace the wing with sky would be a piece of cake. But I think this might actually be a composite of several videos digitally blended. Even using footage of a model plane could be convincing if the sound of a real engine was dubbed in place of the whine. But whatever it is, it still comes off and prety danged impressive!!!
oh, my talk about a heart attack but they landed fine.
Why is the YouTube stuff at the end of the video in German?
@CrazyWiz - I don’t know…. maybe someone in Germany put it on YouTube originally.
